Jesús Magaña: In 1998 shoots the documentary “Los Triquis de la calle de López”, it was presented in Aimes, France, in the video exhibition; In the opening of the Santiago de Compostela’s Movie Festival, Spain, in the video category. In 2002 it was presented in the La Villege’s Cultural Center, Paris, from may to december. |

In 1999 receives mention from the jury in the Vidarte Festival for Video Express (Docufiction based in Transportarán Un Cadáver Por Express, story by José Agustín). In 2000 with this short he wins the Best Realization award in the Latinamerican Short Amateur Festival, organized through Internet by OUL mail.com.
The director receives the 2000-2001 Beca de Jóvenes Creadores (Young Developers Scholarship) from CONACULTA – FONCA (National Culture And Arts Council – National Culture And Arts Fund), with which he produces the ducufiction video “Todas Se Llaman María” shown at the central gallery from the Centro Nacional de las Artes (National Center of Arts) during the Creación en Movimiento (Creation in Movement) show.
